FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I get started?
E-mail or fill out the form in our contact page to schedule a free no-obligation fitness eval with one of our personal trainers. We will e-mail you an intake form and a PAR-Q to be filled out prior to the eval so that we can gather some more information about you before hand.
During the eval the coach will do various tests to see where your starting point is and to check for any imbalances and get a better sense of your goals.
**Please wear workout clothes to this appointment, you will be moving.
You can check out our coaches tab and let us know your preference of who you want to work with. However, we do not guarantee you will be able to work with a specific coach - as their schedule may be full or not be available for the time that works best for you.
During covid times, we require 12 hours notice if you need to cancel your session - if you cancel with less than 12 hours notice your session is subject to be lost. There are exemptions for extreme weather - such as snow and ice, flooding, and power outages. If a coach needs to cancel a session with less than 12 hours notice, we extend you the same courtesy and you will be credited 1 session.
Normally - this rule is 24 hours.
Do I have to pay in full?
Small group sessions are paid in full on the 1st of the month. Private and semi-private sessions are able to be paid in smaller portions.
But if you need some other payment options - come talk to us! We can usually work something out.
What if I go on vacation?
If you go on vacation - no sweat on private or semi-private packages, they will resume when you come back. If you are in our small groups - then depending on the amount of days missed we can either pause for the month, or shuffle you into other group sessions that have room to make up your days.
Each coach's schedule is unique - they will work with you to find a time that works for the both of you. If you find that your coach and you have conflicting schedules we can work to get you placed with another one that does work for you.
Are open gym hours open to the public?
There are no membership options for only open gym. Only clients are allowed to use the open gym hours. This is to keep numbers low and so that our members don't feel the need to pay for an additional gym membership if our open gym times work for them.
Will open gym hours be open on Sundays
Not at this time - but as we grow and have the capability to staff Sundays, yes, they will be an option!
What if I have a physical limitation?
That's totally okay! Our trainers can work with your doctor or physical therapist if need be (you will need to given written permission to your medical team for this) so that we can form a plan that is the best for you and your goals! Alternatively, you can get a note from one of your providers stating do's and don't's for your specific needs.
Do you have age requirements?
We do not - all ages are welcome!
However, if you are under 18, you will need a parent signature
